In December 2025, Resolute updated the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) which outlines a robust, high-margin project with average annual gold production of 169,000 ounces (oz) at an all-in Sustaining Cost (AISC) of US$1,406/oz over a 13-year mine life. Resolute has received the Mining Permit, approved FID and is advancing construction in the first half 2026.
Doropo is located in north eastern Côte d’Ivoire approximately 480km north of Abidjan. The project has received regulatory approval for its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and the environmental permit was awarded in June 2024.
The updated DFS envisages a multiple open pit operation mining shallow dipping gold structures. The carbon-in-leach processing plant outlined in the updated DFS has a 4.9 Mtpa of installed capacity for fresh ore and comprises a crushing circuit, a SAG Mill and gold extraction circuit.
Planned Activities
During Q2 activities are expected to focus on placing orders for major long-lead items, commencing bulk earthworks and camp construction, expanding site infrastructure, advancing high-voltage power supply arrangements and progressing full-scale site development.
Exploration
Exploration drilling within the Doropo Mining Permit is set to commence in Q2 2026 targeting both the Vako area and Kilosegui.
Kilosegui represents a potential mineral resource expansion opportunity, with a 6km strike length and mineralisation remaining open at depth along its entire strike length. The initial strategy is to expand the Kilosegui Mineral Resources at depth but within the top 200m.
Historical exploration identified a broad, high-grade gold-in-soil anomaly along the Vako Shear Zone, with initial follow-up drilling returning encouraging early-stage results. Resolute plans to carry out a systematic work program at Doropo, commencing with auger drilling to identify the source of the gold anomalies, followed by a focused RC drilling campaign to test and delineate the underlying mineralisation.
