Doropo, Côte d’Ivoire
The Doropo Gold Project, located in north eastern Côte d’I’voire, comprises seven exploration permits covering an area of approximately 1,850km2. The licence covers 13 gold deposits, 11 of which are concentrated within a 7km radius.
A pre-feasibility study was completed in 2023 and the definitive feasibility study in 2024. The project has received regulatory approval for its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and the environmental permit was awarded in June 2024.
The 2024 DFS envisaged a multiple open pit operation mining shallow dipping gold structures. The carbon in leach processing plant outlined in the DFS has a greater-than 4.0 Mtpa of installed capacity for fresh ore and comprises a crushing circuit, a SAG Mill and gold extraction circuit.
