Company Overview
About Resolute Mining
Resolute is an African-focused gold miner with more than 30 years of experience as an explorer, developer and operator. Through its history the Company has produced more than 9 million ounces of gold from ten gold mines. The Company is now entering a growth phase through the development of the Doropo project in Cote d’Ivoire which will supplement the existing production from the Syama mine in Mali and Mako mine in Senegal. The Company trades on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) and the London Stock Exchange (LSE) under the ticker RSG.
Resolute currently owns two producing gold mines, a development gold project and several exploration projects.
Syama – Mali
Syama is a robust, long-life asset comprising a underground mine and associated sulphide processing circuit, along with satellite open pit operations which provide ore feed to a separate oxide processing circuit.
In 2023, Resolute commenced construction of the Syama Sulphide Conversion Project (SSCP). The Project will increase overall sulphide processing capacity at Syama by 60% from 2.4Mtpa to 4.0Mtpa by modifying the oxide comminution circuit and upgrading the roaster. The Project is important for the long-term future of Syama as oxide resources deplete and the ore sources become predominantly sulphide. Importantly, the SSCP will retain operational flexibility by maintaining the ability to switch back to treat oxide ore.
The plan is to start to introduce sulphide ore into the SSCP plant once the flotation circuit has been commissioned from Q1 2026. Throughput of sulphide ore will be ramped up from Q2 2026 with sources being a combination of sulphide stockpile material and Syama North ore.
Mako – Senegal
Mako is a high quality, open pit gold mine which Resolute has owned and operated since August 2019.
At Mako open pit mining is due to end in mid-2025 with stockpile processing due to commence from July 2025 until the end of 2027. Resolute is working towards extending the mine life at Mako through the development of satellite deposits, including Tomboronkoto and Bantaco, which are within trucking distance of the mill.
Doropo – Cote d’Ivoire
In May 2025, Resolute acquired Doropo, a high-quality gold development project located in the northeast of Cote d’Ivoire. The project has a definitive feasibility study, completed in June 2024, and has received regulatory approval for its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and has been awarded its environmental permit.
The 2024 feasibility study envisaged a multiple open pit operation mining shallow dipping gold structures. The carbon in leach processing plant outlined in the feasibility study has a greater-than 4.0 Mtpa of installed capacity for fresh ore and comprises a crushing circuit, a SAG Mill and gold extraction circuit. Resolute is in the process of optimising the feasibility study.
ABC Project – Cote d’Ivoire
Along with Doropo, Resolute acquired the ABC Project in May 2025. The project is located in northwest Cote d’Ivoire approximately 460km west of Doropo.
ABC is an exploration project, consisting of three permits, covering a highly prospective area of 1,143km2 along the underexplored contact zone between the Archean and Birimian cratons. This contact is demarcated by the north-south trending Sassandra Fault system, which is more than 20km wide.
Exploration to date has delineated a north-south trending gold-mineralised corridor – the Lolosso Gold Corridor – over a 30km strike length within the Kona permit. Resolute plans to continue exploration with a focus on expanding the current resource of over 2Moz Au.
